Noel has a new coat !

got the mail from Mel on tuesday ~ i bought two items from her and one of them is the furry knitted coat for Noel.. hehe but i replaced the buttons. drop by Spotlight after school yesterday to buy them.

i had a hard time choosing cos i wanted something cute but boyish at the same time. you know i love hearts right, i wanted to get the poka dotted red heart button but i think it's too girly for Noel! so i chose the ladybug ~ its cute too :D

i've just mastered how to sew on buttons (thanks to my mum who taught me) but this one was tricky lah.. the normal thread is too thin cos knits have holes in between. HAHA but i came up with a great idea.. although i had a tough time, it's still a success! i used the knitting thread i have from knitting the scarfs previously ~ lucky i didn't throw them away.

and one of the two that i have, is the exact same colour as the coat! wahh, so lucky lor. so that when i locked the buttons on, the thread camouflage. haha that's a mini project i was busy with last night.. i have a bigger project on-going. i bought something yesterday ~ and it might take a while to complete. i think i'm 10% done tho. i have to piece them together (*hint).

oh and i never thought that i would say this, but i think kid delf Caju is pretty cute! especially here > click. haha but his name reminds me of my favourite lunch @ Long John Silver - grilled cajun chicken ♥ with coldslaw and garden salad.. but it's ex ;__;
