ahhh, i like Merly.. and i wanna take picture with the mascot.
Merly got her name from "mer" (meaning the sea) and "l y" stand for liveliness and youthfulness. A passionate advocate of environment protection, Merly believes that everyone has a role to play in working towards a sustainable future. She also wants to encourage young people to play an active role in their communities and promote respect for one another.
Lyo is quite cute too but i think Merly is super cute lah. i like the mini plushies the winners will receive on the podium!! i went into one of the YOG shops they have along Orchard Road (in front of Ngee Ann City) to check out the merchandises after my class today.. they have the bigger plushies of Merly & Lyo but i think they are not as cute as the smaller ones. there are many designs for the pins and key chains (which are nice too) but i don't have enough money to buy anything OTL

i had to top up my ezlink this morning and was then left with a few cents in my wallet (i know i'm so pathetic).. didn't stop by Kino cos i don't wanna bring temptation to myself and i need to save money cos soon.. *drum rolls*.. I'M GOING TO BUY SIDNAD Vol.4 ～TOUR 2009 hikari ♥ YEAH LIKE FINALLY, the chance is here. thanks to H who informed me about the HMV JP promotion! hope the order next week will be successful..

still, i did spend $10 today when i visited the newly opened Daiso @ Orchard Ion. i bought:
. an interior decoration sticker sheet
. transparent pocket thingy for CDs
. leopard print drawstring bag
. mini black & white tote bag
. a super duper cute letter pad set

haha i'm sure they are useful in some way. initially i only wanted to get just one or two items but i got no cash.. so i had to use nets which i think it will be weird + being such an ass if i use it for a mere $2. hence i bought five items in the end. and surprisingly, the quality of the interior decoration sticker sheet is pretty good. it's nice too ~ i've been eying it for a while and finally thought of a place where i can stick it. just a pity that the width is too short..
