Marimo (毬藻, literally "ball seaweed"), also known as Cladophora ball, Lake ball, or Moss Balls in English, is a species of filamentous green algae (Chlorophyta) found in a number of lakes in the northern hemisphere. A marimo is a rare growth form of the species where the algae grow into large green balls with a velvety appearance. Colonies of such balls are only known to form in Iceland, Scotland, Japan and Estonia.

my twins marimo, which i'm naming Mo and Mo ~ together you can call them MoMo ! hahaha.. i wanted to take them under natural light but by the time i got home, the sun has already set. in fact, it started raining dogs and cats just 5 minutes after i reached home and i'm thankful cos i still don't have a brolly. overall, i think i'm lucky today.

(1) saw orange cat on my way to school this morning, but i didn't disturb (pat) him cos he was sleeping and i was running late for class.

(2) was just in time for class

(3) finally gotten Chip n Dale sticker from the gashapon!

(4) decided to walk the underpass from Centerpoint to Orchard Central and found a stall selling the marimo @ a lower price.. i wanted to get from the shop @ PS initally which cost S$8.90 ~ the stall i got from is S$6 each! hehe and the one i got is S$8.. it's the only bottle with 2 marimos inside + mini rope with keychain and bell :D

(5) on my way home, during the train ride, an aunty say my hair highlights very nice.. haha she say like ang moh (that's because my green is becoming blonde-ish). well, she actually asked me on where she should alight based on the address she had written on a piece of paper.. then she ended up chatting with me till my stop. we were talking about work / school stuff and she told me she's working @ Lucky Plaza, selling nasi lemak. hmmmm..

(6) came home, watched half and episode of 'The Mentalist' then left the house with bro to pick up his gf from her aunty's photocopy shop ~ her aunty has been taking care of this stray cat who's such a beauty! i played with the kitty while waiting for his gf to finish doing what she was doing. i took many pics with my bro's iPhone, will upload the nicest when i get the pics from him. the kitty hop onto my lap when i was sitting on the chair and did a 'massage' on my tummy.. she will use her paws and press press press your tummy ~ damn cute lah.

(7) dinner @ Little Bali (XN, i think its near your place!) on them ~ hahaha i am a freeloader.




had a long day, need to have a good night sleep..
